I'm a wife & mama residing in Minnesota.
Full time Marketing Director by day and multi-tasking mama & entrepreneur by night. Photography has been a passion of mine for over a decade. In Fall of 2022 I took the leap to make it an official side gig, and was blessed to fill my calendar with over 25 amazing families from September-November... And I'm just getting started!
After going through a traumatic two years of pregnancy losses, cancer diagnoses, a pandemic, a miracle pregnancy, and losing my mom to Ovarian cancer 5 weeks after giving birth to my son, I was determined to not lose myself in the loss.
Photos have been my way to both connect and escape, a way to grieve and let go, to honor and to heal. Little glimpses of moments that hold such sacred memories. Being able to channel my creativity into capturing these moments with your families is not only an honor, it's a gift.
I love to travel. Anything dark chocolate. The smell of fresh flowers. Meaningful conversations. Puppy & baby snuggles. A good TV binge. Beaches, lakes and a golden sunset.

My philosophy: Let them be little! Kiddos are unpredictable - that's okay! Some of my (and my client's) favorite photos have come out of unplanned moments of snack breaks, candy bribes, and meltdowns.

Niki captured our family perfectly. Our, typically shy and serious faced little girl became giggly and cuddly during our session, and I attribute that to Niki’s laid back/no pressure to get “the photo” vibe.
